We are currently known as one of Japan's leading manufacturing brands. Introduction Established in 1916, we are a leading Japanese chasing (metalwork) manufacturer. Our roots lie deep in the history of the Edo period, when our forebears were makers of the ornamented hand guards of Japanese swords, working in the Bushu Ito school of that craft. In 1999, our company's third generation, comprising the brothers Kazuhide and Akashi Saito, launched their "Horigin" line of silver jewelry, which has since become one of Japan's most renowned manufacturer brands. About our products Replicating the techniques of master craftsmen from the Edo period has been in the forefront of our minds ever since the establishment of our brand. We have applied countless precise metal-carving techniques passed down from the Edo period to gold and silver jewelry, arranging traditional Japanese motifs such as Buddha, dragons, tigers, family seals, Edo-dyed cloth, the Heart Sutra, and Sanskrit characters to express the ultimate in Japanese modern design. The "carved silver" pieces of jewelry are collectors' items made by modern day master craftsmen and are impossible to replicate elsewhere, embodying techniques from the Edo period. Our domestic sales record and exports We currently have a retail store in Harajuku, Tokyo (the source of Japanese fashion), and three online shops (Rakuten, Yahoo, and our own site). We do business with several major Japanese department stores and 10 domestic accessory shops. We also began doing business with two accessory shops on ebay three years ago, and export worldwide.
